On Friday 6 November, the chairs of the foreign affairs committees of the Nordic and Baltic parliaments will hold a remote meeting to discuss current international political issues. One topic of discussion will be the political situation in Belarus. Opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya will provide the participants of the meeting her views on the situation. The chairs will also discuss the impact of the US presidential election on transatlantic relations and the current situation with the coronavirus across borders. Mika Niikko (Finns Party Parliamentary Group), Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, will participate in the meeting from the Finnish Parliament.
