You can visit the parliament by booking a free guided tour. The Plenary sessions, Visitor's Centre (entrance F), and Parliament Library (entrance C) are also open for public.
Guided tours cancelled for now
To protect the Parliament's work, as a precautionary measure the guided tours of the Parliament House have been cancelled for now. We will be in touch with everyone who has booked a visit.

A entrance open per usual hours of parliamentary session: Mon 8.00−16.30, Tue-Thu 7.45−20.00, Fri 7.45−16.30 (or until end of session)
B entrance closed (opened if need for accessible entrance)
C entrance closed
D entrance open weekdays 7.00−17.00 (parliamentary office, office of the parliamentary ombudsman, access keys etc.)
F entrance closed. (opened only if necessary for committees etc.)
All guided tours are booked through the online calendar. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak we are not accepting any new bookings.
Booking for the fall of 2020 is not possible yet. Information will be updated here later in the spring.
Minimum size for a group is 6 persons, maximum 25. If you're unsure of the size of your group book the visit for 25 persons. If your group is larger than 25, book the visit for 50 persons, and so on. Unfortunately we are unable to arrange guided tours for single visitors.
Please reserve one hour for your guided visit. The first 15 minutes is reserved for the security check, and after that the tour will take about 45 minutes. Guided tours are arranged only during office hours.

Parliament supports the teaching of democratic processes in schools by reserving all of May for school excursions exclusively. Bookings in May require a password, that teachers and school personnel can request using their work email at oppaat(at)eduskunta.fi.
The public has the opportunity to observe all plenary sessions from the gallery. Because of precautionary measures related to COVID-19, the gallery is currently closed for public.
The Public entrance is on the North East side of the Parliament building on the Mannerheimintie side (entrance B). The door is opened 15 minutes before the beginning of the session. All drinks or snacks will be confiscated by the security, so please avoid bringing any.
The public gallery is accessible with a wheelchair.
Public transport is the easiest way to access the Parliament. The walk from the Central Railway Station or the Kamppi bus terminal is less than one kilometre.
Parliament does not provide parking for visitors. Paid parking by the City of Helsinki and private parking buildings can be found nearby.
