Visiting Parliament
Normally you can visit the Parliament House by booking a free guided tour. The plenary sessions, Visitor's Centre (entrance F), and Library of Parliament (entrance C) are also open for public.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, guided tours in the Parliament House have been temporarily cancelled.
Library of Parliament is open on weekdays from 9 am to 18 pm. See Library of Parliament website for more information.
We offer options for virtual visiting also during the COVID-19 restrictions. See below for further information.
Book a guided virtual tour
Though guided tours in the Parliament House are temporarily unavailable, you can book a guided virtual tour for your group. Guided virtual tours are arranged on Microsoft Teams. You can access the tour via web browser or Microsoft Teams Apps (Desktop or Mobile).
The guided virtual tour takes about 45 minutes. The tour will introduce the Parliament and its key functions. The focus is especially on the work of MPs and the basics of the Legislative process. Also, some of the key attractions of the Parliament House are introduced with videos.
To guarantee a smooth connection on guided virtual tours, the number of participants with their own devices is limited to 25. If a group follows the tour together on a single device, then more than 25 persons can take part.
Guided virtual tours are arranged only during office hours.
